This one is a sort of remixed chant, to the tune of Queens 'Bicycle Race'

Arsenal! Arsenal! Arsenal!
We all Support Arsenal! Arsenal! Arsenal!
We all Support Arsenal we all support the Arse!
We all Support Arsenal we all support the Arse!
Arsenal! Arsenal! Arsenal!

Not sure it's entirely to the tune, but as close as.

what about this effort, we can give the old keown song a make over for the one and only kolo toure.

KOLO
THERE'S ONLY 1 KOLO
THERE'S ONLY 1 KOLO
THERE'S ONLY 1 KOLO
KOLO

NOT ROCKET SCIENCE BUT COULD BE A GO'ER. IF ANYONE IN THE SIDE DESERVES A SONG KOLO DOES, A TRUE GUNNER LEGEND IN THE MAKING.

Add Toure to the end of each line and we have a winner :)

It's an old one, but I like it...

I told my mate, the other day,
I think I've seen, the new pele,
he said to me, who can it be,
I said to him, it's Thierry Henry,
Thierry Henry
Thierry Henry
Thierry Henry
Thierry Henry

Whilst Refereeing yesterday I got very bored of the one sided under 15's 5 a-side game I was refereeing. So as dull as the match was I decided to make a song for Eboue, and I assure you its unique no take of the old pat vieira song etc. So here it goes, its to the tune of "The lion sleeps tonight" tell me what you think?

EEEBOUEEE AWAY AWAY
AT THE ARSENAL
THE MIGHTY ARSENAL
WE HAVE A GREAT RIGHT BACK
AND AT THE ARSENAL
THE MIGHTY ARSENAL
HE TURNS DEFENCE TO ATTACK
EEEEBOUEEE AWAY AWAY

I think it could catch on myself ! :D  :!: :!: :!:

On the subject of old songs, how many times must we remind ourselves to "stand-up if you hate tottenham"? Every few minutes it seems.

Another home game and the Redaction singing section continue to sing "Stand up if you hate Tottenham" at least 10 times a game.Where are the new songs? Against Watford people weren"t standing up for it the first time it was sung!! What are Redaction doing inbetween games why cant they think up any new songs? Another game goes by and still no song for Eboue, Helb and Gilberto(he has only been at te club for 4 and a half years!!. Come on Redaction pull your fingers out.

I couldnt agree more over the stand up song, yes it is boring and gives them ( the spuds) way too much credit for who they are.
However i do sit in the red action section and the reason that the song keeps being sung is the fact that the stewards want the fans to sit down. Hence "Stand up......", just for annoyance value. Personally i am caught between two stalls here, fed up with the song but want to create some noise, whilst standing up. Keep the faith!

and when they asked me who 'ave we got,
I said we got the boy wonder we got theo wallcot,

I thought the atmosphere against Waford in "the new north bank" was pretty good. Especially in the second half when the game was already wrapped up.

I do love the "you'll never play here again" chant to the newly promoted / shite clubs! Although, as with all of them, it would be great if east and west could get involved... I just want to shake them sometimes!!

And "Paddy got up and he sang it again, over and over and over again..." until everyone was bored to death. Can someone please explain what that song has to do with Arsenal or football?

Anthem - Songs

Post by AFB »

This is my idea of an Anthem

Maybe it's because I'm a Gooner
That I love Arsenal so.
Maybe it's because I'm a Gooner
That I think of them wherever I go.

I get a funny feeling inside of me
Just watching Arsenal play
Maybe it's because I'm Gooner
That I love The Arsenal way
