wenger in the early 80s

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yes, it was actually filmed last week. They didn't think that a wig could actually fool anyone, but then along came Braziliangooner....

I can be the first to confirm that he mentions spirit, desire, and the wish one day to "build up a fading giant of a club, and then when turns 60, becomes a miserly old codger who becomes increasingly frustrated with young people"

I like the way it says Arsene Wenger, entraineur ASNL (AS Nancy Lorraine).
Now he's coach at Arsenal, he's basically added Rea to this.

Does this mean he likes Chris Rea?

Which begs the question:

Whatever happened to Benny Santini?

I can also confirm that he reminisces on his night of passionate sex with a local woman when AS Nancy's toured the Ivory Coast and how he is really looking forward to their 1987 tour to Sao Paulo. :? :?

From Frank, whose dress sense makes him appear to still be in the 80's!
