"I do not know where these quotes have come from, but I never said Almunia would not be #1".
Arsenal today have unveiled their squad-list for 2010-11, and the Spaniard has indeed retained the coveted number one jersey.
"We have four very good goalkeepers. Almunia will be first choice, although I expect Lukasz [Fabianski] to challenge him hard for the position next season. We are not interested at bringing in another goalkeeper, as I do not believe there is a better keeper on the market than the ones we currently have".
