As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I very much doubt we would be spending also £50M nor do we need Suarez. But with Ajaz in debt and Jol leaving there could be some element of truth. Maybe a bid soley for Stekelenburg?
would be great if that was true, but:
1. wenger wont spend that much
2. van der wiel is a right back, WE NEED A CENTRE BACK!
3. Jol says hes staying at ajax now
4. The Metro had a massive headline a few weeks back that Cole had signed for us
From what I seen of van der wiel in the world cup he looked very strong in the tackle but pure shite with the ball at his feet At Arsenal, of all teams going, a player needs to be more than comfortable in possession and this guy did not look good enough for me
would love suarez. pure goal scorer/classic finisher like eduardo, pre-injury (though he has done it on a bigger stage than dudu).
as for those thinking he is a cheat, i'd beg to differ. he is no more a cheat than someone who grabs another's shirt, makes a professional foul, tackles someone on a breakaway, etc. indeed, his was more of a reaction move and he made no complaints to the ref when he was sent off - had he not done that, uraguay would have lost.

i'd welcome him with open arms.
me too but if his transfer fee is over 50p we are fucked

Mind you...people love to boo our players for cheating.....so he will settle in nicely at ours

Cashley for being a bigger *word censored*
My point is....wherever we go we here the song "same old Arsenal always cheating"...i wasnt stipulating Gooners boo the players (may i also add i never boo our players) i meant that if you wear the red and white you are target

Hell yeah, that's likely to happen....!!! I cannot see Arsenal or Wenger signing any of these players.. God how I hope, that I am completely wrong.
FFS, every other club seems to be looking to improve their squad..!

Wasn't impressed with this guy at all during the World Cup. Seems to have the same defensive deficiencies as Eboue/Clichy and a poor attacking output like Sagna.
