My Dreams

Post by DanielD »

I have two dreams, for a football match that i really would want to see.

The first is a match between Today's Arsenal and the Invincibles or 97\98 side.
The second is a match between our CC side and the first XI, i think from an neutral point of view, these will be two massive massive games to watch.

Any other football matches dreams?

Mine usually revolve around Lucy Pinder and Michelle Marsh but whatever turns you on!

A couple of seasons ago when we beat Middlesbrough 7-0, I was sat in the North Bank next to some bloke who was going especially mental when Freddie hit the post in the last minute and missed the chance to make it 8-0. I asked him why he was so pissed off, to which he replied, "I had a dream last night that we'd win 8-0 so I put a tenner on it. It was 500/1!"

How good is that?! You'd be going mad if you were him!

My dream match (matches) would be the Trotts 61 Double side versus all of our Double winning teams, '71,'98,'02, but if I could only pick one I'd go for '02, and it would be played at Shite Hart Lane, where we would put at least 'Double' figures past em!

I used to work in a bookies and the odds would have probably been at least 50/1 on a scorecast!! so yeah big bucks there!
I do remember one year Ipswich beat us in the carling cup at Highbury and were 4/1 to win the match, I told everyone I knew to get on but couldn't bring myself to write it out, so lost a huge pile, coupled with the misery of defeat to a load of pig loving yocals!
