Get ready for the spin from Wenger when we fail to sign the Centre Back, Keeper and Defensive Midfielder we all know we need - "Wilshere, Jay Emmanuel Thomas, Gibbs, Nordveit and Frimpong can step up. We can fight for the title as they are top quality and full of spirit."

Sol might just do us a favour if he signs for Newcastle tomorrow because if that doesn't force Wenger's hand nothing will.

Equally Fulham having no Manager means no Schwartzer. So try the Ruskie or the Italian keeper who says he wants out.

It is not as though Wenger has no options.

But then his two favourite picks are myopia and boneheadeness. So I am not holding my breath.

A keeper and a defender, its not much to ask for is it!! Not sure many people will stand for the usual bullshit. I still believe we may all be surprised yet!

Totally agree, Wenger won't buy anyone else. But, i'm not that fussed either. I do believe our current youngsters can make it for the first team for at least 12 games of the prem against the bottom half teams. For the rest we have a first team that has another year under their belt.

If we keep Cesc and i have always thought we would. We won't have lost anywhere near the caliber as we did 12 months ago (Ade and Kolo), 2 years ago (Helb and Flamini), 3 years ago (Henry, Ljungberg, Lauren), and so it goes on.
