Arsenal v SC Neusiedl

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nasri is having a stormer but i will wait till he does it at blackburn/stoke before getting too excited.

If wilshere is not involved this season but denilson is then something is seriously fucked up.
Sorry, but I gotta ask.

Bringing in a striker who is going to need the midfield to score goals is a good bit of business?

Que?

Fucking hell, Dirk Kuyt has the highest work rate I've ever seen in a player but I wouldn't want him anywhere near my starting XI.
Come off it, his ability to bring others into play and his threat in the air clearly make him more then just a dirk kuyt. I was merely highlighting the attribute that i saw most of in that game.
Holy shit, now he sounds like Emile Heskey.

You need to work on your comparisons guy.

I remain far from convinced. For now at least.

Erm... Number 5, he didn't make any comparisons - it was YOU who brought up Kuyt, and YOU who brought up Heskey!

His point about a forward who holds up the ball and brings others into play isn't that daft, either - Alan Smith? Drogba? - you could have mentioned either of those, but of course you wanted to make him look silly, so you mentioned Heskey instead! Hmm.... I'm on to you, fella

Only just? I've been doing this kinda shit for years.

I could debate seriously the point behind the joke I was making, you know, if I wanted to. But then that would mean me making you look silly g88ner and would I really want to do that?

Is that even possible?
not if you watch diaby, denilson, and eastmond play that spot day in and day out. you forget exactly what is possible.
