SPURS AGAIN IN THE CARLING CUP SEMI !!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Lampard defended Crouch but by his words it was a "oh sure it was a foul but I'm sure he never meant to hurt the guy" defence so must have been pretty bad.

I really really hope they don't win, even if it is a second leg with us winning first leg 5-0, our team going Mannoe, Gavin Hoyte, Norwegian guy as we will never hear the last of it

What have we got to fear from the Spuds? I think its a great draw. What you rather have Chelski. I think its going to be a repeat of last years final.

To ensure we don't lose to the Spuds I would like us to field a back four far to strong for them that consists of......

Akers Lewin Steward 428 Stepanov

Gus, how come you haven't included your mate Phil in that line up?

I'm more than delighted with the draw
Chelsea is a test that can wait for the final if we get there, it's not going to be a easy tie against Spurs because they will come back & bite us in the ass one day where it hurts & i have a gut feeling it's going to be this season in the Carling cup, what is better than beating your rivals & grabing a place in there most important final & only piece of sliverware which they can prob win for a good few years
Even if we do lose to Spurs we all have to give cedit to the young Arsenal side for getting us into the semi final for the 4 time in 5 years & each year with different looking sides as already players like Adebayor, Fabregas, Alummia etc etc ain't around making way for the next great young side in line hoping to go one better than last years side

Trouble is chaps, yes we may lose with our reserves & the cockends will dine out for years on how they beat the Arsenal in the minimal cup.
It dosent really matter when your still in the frame for the prem, Champs & FA.
These sad shites don't understand that.
Lose this, but when we win a major it will wipe it out.
They are so pathetic that my boss still (on occassion) wears a "Worthington Cup Final" polo shirt to remind him of the good times of black & white tv.
Arseholes & wankers every last one of them but if the under 10's can win at Blackburn (no mean feat) then they can fuck the spuds right off aswell.

But Blackburn are in a poor run of form, under Ramos things are starting to improve at Spurs. Robinson is fitter and starting to show why he became England number 1 in first place, it is a long time to the semi and if they are flying higher then now with an on form keeper, there is every reason why our second string, as top half of Prem worthy that they are, will lose

A word of warning. What with the second leg being at SHL. If we win to knock them out they will go mad. It will be serious tin hat time. If you have colours on put a big coat over them. They will be going mental the animals. It was bad enough last time and that was only the 1st leg.

Khalid_red just noticed your post :!: Was getting annoyed that the Spuds had a free kick and a penalty and Nick was left there on the sidelines ready and waiting. But if it meant a first touch like that then it was worth waiting for :D
