donaldo wrote:As a player an all time great dont let anyone tell you otherwise. But something happened once he left.Maybe he was promised a coaching job once he retired that never materialised because for some reason he had a hatred towards the club. The worst moment being him celebrating on the pitch after his Leeds team had beaten us to hand the title to their bitterest rivals. You just dont play for a club for 18 years and who gave you two testimonials and dance on the pitch when that club loses the title.Since that night to most Gooners he is a c**t
Spot on..... he was superb calm assured centre back and a prefect foil for a young Tony Adams but that night in 99 when Leeds beat us and he ran across the pitch will never be forgotten

Great defender and loyal player servant to the club but living proof that prolonged heading of the ball can cause Brain damage . What the fcuk was he thinking that night in Elland Read . The way he carried on and in his verbal spat was Pires was nearly Adebayor like in stupidity . His lack of tact was again in evidence with his shitty book about Leeds whilst still at the club .
Reckon Donaldo is onto something with his theory that he somehow feels the club wronged him . Absolute zero time for him , which after all he gave on the pitch , is a shame .

Most Leeds Fans think he's a prize *word censored* as well whilst not too many Villa fans were sad to see him go also . You could even question his loyalty and mindset with his book 'Leeds on Trial ' whilst Bowyer and Woodgate were still facing the wrath of the legal system . Chances are he'll screw it up
his new managerial role in Dubai . Looking forward to the ' Camel for O'Leary ' outcome  Would be very surprised if he ever manages in this country again . Total twat

Anyone remember his record breaking game at home to Norwich? What an amazing game that was, i think we were 1-0 down, 2-1 down ,3-2 up, only for Norwich to equalise then i think O'Leary got the winner 4-3 which was followed by a mass brawl..... I was in the clockend next to the away fans and after we got the winner the police charged into our fans and started beating people.... I saw a policeman smack a young black lad over the head with his helmet (ooh matron  ) no seriously he did

All round it was an amazing day

Yep, i was literally yards away from that in the North Bank end.... (going mental at Bryan Gunn, their goalie and I think their left back Bowen, who started the trouble by pushing Merson in the back and launching him into the back of the net.
