NEW CLOCK

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As from the start of the season this is the music the team will be coming out to.It was chosen to match the way the club is being run and managed.Take it away maestro

Heard its bigger than the original Highbury clock. The original is too small, so the new one is as large replica.

Clock was in place yesterday although it wasn't working. Both hands were on 12 o clock and at every break or half time, the stadium anouncer let us know that it will be officially unveiled at the Blackpool game. Nice to see it back though!

Was it just me or was he f*cking patronising about the whole thing?! Was like he was explaining it to a bunch of kids  "It's a bigger replica of the clock we used to have at Highbury. The original is proudly displayed on the back of one scoreboard" :? As if we were all gonna be baffled by a large clock appearing on the roof. Mind you, about 50k of those people in there yesterday probably had no idea about it's significance.

Will get a pic this afternoon...

Yeah, spot on Dan. He had a script and kept repeating it. The way he kept saying 'THE NEW CLOCK EVERYBODY' :?

My little girl aked if the clock would have some batteries in to get it working, she is only 6 though!! It is a lot bigger than the Highbury Clock but who cares, it's back and we should be happy about it.

Sadly that crap fucking song is still being played before kick off. :banghead:

I like the idea but am sad its not the real clock and that is still stuck outside where its really hard to see. Sort of spoils it a bit.

That seems to always be stuck on 12 o'clock too........
