It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Not when the waitress in question is 22 stone 85 years of age with BAD breath a fag sticking out of her gob, oh yes, and her wrinkled 44DD's spill out of the low cut top

by the way, at what time do pubs usually open in the UK?
Usually 11 oclock, but if you get to any pubs around markets, they open much earlier.
Anyway, don't do breakfast, they're for Tennis lovers...
you fellas are a happy sort and don't know it
Why's that mate??
pubs open at around 6pm in brazil , i live in a 1.5 million people city that has around 10 or 15 pubs maximum, and a pint of guinness costs over 6 pounds, while a shit local lager in a common bar costs less than 2 i never watched a football match at a pub, mind you.
a trip to my favourite local pub here, which is an 'irish pub', usually sets me back 25 pounds for two pints of old speckled hen and a boxty. that's similar to what i spend with lunch for an entire week
for some stupid reason we have hundreds of cafe-esque style bars, but very few pubs... fucking portuguese colonizers
Not one for the BRAZIL TOURIST BOARD are you, BG? Maybe put some Brazilian Luvverley ladies on here to tempt me to visit your homeland????

don't get me wrong mate, brazil is a cracking country to visit - loads of parties, beautiful women with little clothes, casual sex and nice scenery.
however the culture is different, and the kind of things that i personally enjoy - i.e. a nice pub with footie on the tv and a nice british ale to drink, are rare and expensive
add to that the fact that people here drink considerably less ammounts of alcohol than in europe, you could say i was born in the wrong country
Right, not sure how many of you will go for this but you should try the following:
The old staples like Bacon; Sausages and Eggs. But then warm up Plum Tomatoes (from the can) and instead of Baked Beans, try my secret ingredient (also warmed up): Marrow Peas!!! Don't forget to have either toast or fresh bread (with plenty of butter) at hand to mop up the juices as the toms and peas fuse together. Fecking marvellous, I promise you!!! Swallowed down with the contents of a sweet cup of tea and you're as near to Heaven as is possible.

A full English breakfast wouldn't be complete without the plum tomatoes and fried mushrooms!
