Personally I believe that there should be some level of uniformity that all leagues start at the same time and that should be the deadline for transfers. It isnt right that some clubs can sit back for a couple more weeks without rushing into their transfers and then fcuk about another club that might be two or three weeks into their season :roll:

Yes, but if Wenger sees Koscielny as a first teamer, then we might struggle to sign a centre back of proven quality who is willing to sit on the bench :?

That's why I'm not convinced about the Mertesacker rumours, whereas this Spahić chap seems to be more like what I expected.
