We were fucking lacking up front and it is that position that will see us finish second at best this season. We created basically fuck all tonight and were fortunate not to come away with fuck all had Benjani put his chance away. I really hope we'll see RVP on saturday, hopefully with Adebayor upfront. Hleb and Rosicky we're rubbish, Cesc was too. Eboue should fuck off from the starting line-up and if there was a reason to be happy from the ACN, is the fact that now he can't play.

I am sure Wenger will say that the players didn't play in their normal style because they we're tired, but if he does say that i think he should be ashamed of himself. He's playing the worst player in the squad in the starting XI (I think Song passed him after his CC performance) and he's too scared to play with two strikers upfront.

Our recent performances showed that we are strugling in creating chances and only when another striker comes in (when Eboue is out of the pitch) our game starts flowing better.

Dunno about your tv daniel d but on mine rosicky was one of the few players to come out of this with any credit. Yes he missed a glorious chance but always looked to get on the ball and inject a bit of pace to our game and he was the ONLY player willing to shoot.

Have to say I am getting more than a bit pissed off with this arsene knows bullshit How does he not know that 4-5-1 does not suit these players ? How can he spout bullshit about our great young players like bedtner,theo,eduardo etc and not play them in games(obviously I aint talking just about tonights game) ? How can he not see the need for player re-inforcements and I am talking about the team not the squad ? I'd agree I don't really like that some players seems to have a given place in the team though. Bendtner has looked much better than Adebayor lately. We got plenty of players on the bench who could do a better job than Eboue on the right hand side...why not give Gibbs a chance? Would it really get that much worse?

Somebody that always seems to escape critisim as well is Clichy. The guy is paid millions to play and train football everyday...is he ever gonna be able to put a cross, or even a long distance pass, somewhere dangerous?

I agree with augie concerning 4-5-1...Its so obvious that pompey weren't going to even TRY and create a concerted attack (they played 9-0-1 ) that to leave such a formation out there really is well...strange. Surely against ten at the back, it would be best to play two strikers for as long as possible (i.e the whole second half).

And yes, although Rosicky missed a golden chance in injury time, he looked one of our best again today.

Having had time to reflect after driving back from the game i thought that we battled our way back into the game but it was too little too late,

451 doesn't help us but for me this is Sir Arsene's blueprint for the CL.
We seem to employ it until its panic stations time then it shuffles to 442.
But what i will say is lets not get too down, Second in the league and the boys know they have to raise it. They need to know that we are behind them!!!!!!!

4-5-1 is a load of bollocks.We just play into the oppositions hands.What the fuck does Bendtner have to do to get a start.The only two clear cut chances we created was when he was on the pitch.

Also why is Wenger so poor at substitutions?You know if a player is not injured Wenger will not make a change till the 70th minute.In fact Nic came on with just 10mins to play!!!

I think we will finish 2nd because at the moment we dont have a Ronaldo who can change a game on his own.
