Now Cetin would be great! He would no way be bullied by Drogba! Gos i would love him at the Arsenal!!!!
Come on wenger get rid of TR and bring in Cetin!!!!!
I know, he is a BEAST. The only stumbling block for me is would he really be willing to play second fiddle to Koscielny or would Cetin get the first team spot?
On this Spahic guy;
Bacary Sagna, who came through the ranks at Bordeaux before joining Arsenal in 2007, has watched Spahic's progress with Montpellier with interest, and admits that he would make a good addition to the Arsenal squad.
Sagna said: "I used to follow him in French football last year and he is a good player.
"He's definitely good enough to play for Arsenal and everyone will welcome him if he does come."
he would get the nod in front of Kos anyday! Even play him as a DM if need be. Your right the guy is a beast, with him the smaller players can play without fear! I wouldnt fuck with him haha
regarding Spahic, in the mail his manager is quoted as saying that he aint going anywhere and that if he did it would cost 22mil
Montpellier boss Rene Girard has suggested he is reluctant to allow Spahic to leave the club. Asked about the Arsenal rumours, he told Le Midi Libre: "I'm flabbergasted. There has never been any question of Emir's departure."
He added, jokingly, that he would sell "if the English are willing to give us €25 million".
The head of Montpellier Loulou Nicollin called the Spahic story a joke. He confirmed this to L'equipe several hours after the official announcement on the clubs website. He said that Rene Girard (?) had Wenger and Grimandi on the phone and that they didn't mention Spahic's name.
Regarding Spahic's statement that the negotations are going well he said that he can leave if he wants because nobody is irreplaceable. Spahic got 3 years on his contract though and that is worth some money. Considering that Arsenal bought Koscielny for 12 Million Euros he asks for triple that ammount since Spahic is worth 3 Koscielny.

Would be stupid to sell Tomas, not only will we lose his Experience & Quality, we will be selling someone who is friends will most of the team which wont be too great for morale if you ask me.
Keep him another year and let Wilshere learn from someone of his experience.

Here's the quotes from Loulou (Montpellier Chairman since 1974)
I dont give a f*** what Spahic said! If he wants to go, we won't keep him! Nobody is irreplaceable. But he's got 3 years left on his contract, and it cost a lot. They had Koscielny 12m € so ... Spahic he worth 3 Koscielny."

I agree.
Wilshere, Lansbury, Ramsey and even Nasri can all learn from him.
If we are to buy Cetin then I would rather give Galatasary players such as Randall and Simpson in part exchange.

I would have agreed with you all previous seasons GD, but I'm actually getting worried about our central defence problem. As much as I think Rosicky is friends with everyone, and I'm a fan of his too, we have to realise that they all professionals and have to move on. We have enough cover where he plays and have to wonder about how much morale he can bring to the team from the sick bay. I hope he can sort his injuries out, but if it means we get a fairly good swop deal on him, I'm all for it

Will they fall for that QG? I would add Almunia, Flappianski and Denilson too

Ha! Am thinking of doing a feature at work on why the tott's are such *****, i reckon my spud of an Area manager would be well impressed by that.
Also, and i cant believe im saying this, but i realy wish the transfer rumour section would fuck off for another year, that and newsnow, fat too distracting, and depressing come to that
Also can we not see that Wenger just isnt going to buy a player like Cetin, although if he did, it would be a very welcome sign that there is some flexibility left in the old miser yet

1) The fact is those players are young and when inconsistency sets in some on here will have a go at them.
2) They might be pros but morale plays a big part in football and we cannot discount it.
3) Do you think it is any coincidence that players like Ramsey, Wilshere, Nasri are improving quicker than Denilson, Song, Diaby, Djourou. Its because they have experienced players of similar ability and position to look up to.

Who is to the say Spahic isn't better for us or is it just because you haven't seen him play?. I wont be jumping on the Cetin bandwagon, 29 and is still dinning out on his 1 game against Drogba.
