So how long do we leave it.......

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i thought i was on my own with the mini protest idea Foxy, Have not bought either shirt (would never buy away shirt as it is dog shit anyway)and for the first time in twenty years am not planing to go over to a match. If he wont spend then neither will I. I have no desire to pay a fortune to see Almunia have another nightmare like the one he had against UTD last season

ive renewd already, its sickening all the noises he made before the renewals were up, as soon as deadline passed silence....even the Arsene knows brigade cannot defend him if a gk aint signed, they cant blame lack of money this time...there is enough for a gk better than what we have.

maybe flappy will become a world beater....

First season that I have my own season tickets and am absolutely kicking myself that I have thrown away money on a club that just wont address the team weaknesses :x Unlike many I can totally accept the no trophies thing but I cannot accept the lack of ambition and total mismanagement that is now running through our club

People oppose new ownership but I doubt if there is a board anywhere in the world that would tolerate this bullshit from wenger and it is high time wenger had some real authority above him leaning on him to manage this club properly

I'm in exactly the same boat. Won't spend another penny on the club or waste my time looking like a mug as long as a) Almunia is our first team keeper, and b) Wenger continues to fail addressing our blatant weaknesses.

I can't believe I've gone from Highbury to boycotting the club in just four years. But everything about the club at the moment makes me sick, and there's no way I'm going to fund it.

Toss in the fact that I really have no connection to any of our players (RVP aside) - and that I actively hate many of them - it's simply not working.

I'll always support the club, obviously. But this current incarnation, which will surely be Wenger's dying days? Fuck it, and fuck him. I supported a club, not a business. So to the first idiot who says "Fak off and supporting da Spuds", heed the previous sentence.

Maybe if the club decides to value the fans again, I'll respond in kind. But I'm certainly not the type to blindly follow into the abyss purely because 'I'm devoted to the club'. Enough's enough.

Unfortunately, this scenario is what many on here fully expected this summer. Chamakh is a decent signing hopefully but defensively we have an unknown and unproven frenchman (haven't seen that before) and that's it.
Yes there's still a little bit of time to go so now we have to wait until the last 60 minutes of the transfer window to sign god knows who and then they'll take a couple of months to bed in because Arsene fcukin Wenger wanted to save a couple of quid by buying last minute. Seriously, I could punch the bloke I really could. :banghead: :banghead:

we could sign messi and torres and keep cesc but id still cringe at the thought of one those two in goal!

we're gonna get a keeper arent we? :?
I think we've been protesting for long enough if you read back on here Bournemouth Red!

I hate to say it.....but I agree almost entirely. Yesteday's member's day has pushed me over the edge. I've been trying to stay positive, and that's easy if you keep a safe distance from the club. But every time I go to a game something feels wrong. Maybe it's the stadium. Every year i'll go to the Barnet pre-season game for the day out and the general 'feel', the type of 'feel' you don't get at the grove. I certainly got that 'feel' at Highbury !. Maybe it's the players. These players barely look at you. We are treated like fools who do nothing but pay the wages. It's as if, before the training session they were told '' don't feed the animals, just smile and wave ''. I told my daughter, after yesterday, that if she never wanted to go to Arsenal again then I wouldn't make her go. Her reponse was ''Daddy, good, I never want to go again !! '' and sadly I'm starting to feel the same way. ( This is like therapy !! ) Maybe it's the Fans today. Not that they're worse, but they're different.

My poor kids will never know !

It doesn't feel like my club anymore, which guts me. :banghead: :banghead:
