As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Even then, it would mainly have been on Italian Television MOTD type highlights programmes and football round-up shows - albeit a much more comprehensive version than we suffer.
Although it was only Kjaer's second season playing for Palermo (who by the way are not my team - I'm a gooner!!! ), he was highly rated by the fans there and they were sad to see him leave.
Sure that's not just down to the ziggy's Hlebby? Fair enough, just wondered cos I'm not sure where all the sudden hype around him arrived from.

Philippe Mexes è di nuovo nei desideri dell'Arsenal.
Phillippe Mexes is again desired by Arsenal.
According to the English papers (?), having lost Gallas, Silvestre and Campbell, the Gunners are on a search (?) for a central defender and the choice of Arsene Wenger, would seem to be the French 28 year old defender of Roma, whose evaluation would have be around 11 million Euros.
Mexes, dal canto suo, dopo sei anni nella capitale, sarebbe attratto da un'esperienza all'estero, in Spagna o Inghilterra, e l'offerta dei Gunners potrebbe convincerlo a fare le valigie.
Mexes, after six years in the capital, would find an experience abroad attractive, either in Spain or England, and the offer of the Gunners could convince him to pack his bags.
He recently rejected advances from Juventus, but the possible arrival of Nicolas Burdisso from Inter could see Mexes relegated to the bench, meaning an Arsenal offer would be tough to refuse.
Burdisso is absolute SHIT! and if thats the player that is going to bench him then what does that say about Mexes?.
That statement from goal.com is weird considering how good Roma were last season that said, Roma conceeded the same number of goals we did in the league last season and Mexes only played 19games of 38.

Of course they will hold us to ransom what do you expect when you leave it this late to try and buy someone.Has it only occured to Wenger now that we need a GK and CB?
