Regardless if we come back and win this 4-3, the fact remains that the same problems exist and Nero fiddles whilst Rome burns!!

That first half is needed. Wenger is a stubborn, deluded man at times but there is no defending that prat in goal. I think the first half is a result for us gooners, surely he MUST get a no1 now.

For the league to be a week away and our manager admit we have no no1 as yet is appauling.

Same problems as the last 4 season, shit keeper and poor defending (set peices anyone!). Lets hope it gets addressed.

Chamak is looking useful though. Lets hope Woscney Schshchschshcs has a subline second half to add salt to the wound.

I tip Nasri to have a blinder this season

When we win, you say dont worry its only a friendly, we are shit. We lose and all of a sudden its the end of the world we are the worst team ever. We are missing Song, Arshavin, Diaby, Fabregas and Van Persie who would all be in our starting 11.

Yes the closing down was poor for the first goal, yes Fabianksi tripping over Vermuelen and Kos slicing in his own net was poor. Also Vermuelen and Rosicky with a comedy bit of defending is poor, but these are the games you learn from..

Lets look a bit more lively second half, look a bit heavy legged in the first half.

Give him time he has been pulled out of position a lot and does need to learn to hold the line with the other 3.
That’s the worrying thing, one of TV5’s few real weaknesses last season was how often & how easily he got pulled out of position to be drawn towards the ball. If Koscielny’s the same then either we’ve bought another CB with the same weakness as his partner, or that’s just the way they’re being asked to defend. Either way it doesn’t bode well.

All it#s ever gonna take is for the striker to drop off into space to receive the ball, TV5/Kos make a late charge forward to get tight, striker lays the ball off & all of a sudden there’s space in behind for midfield runners. It's pretty fucking basic Arsene! :banghead:
