Yes the closing down was poor for the first goal, yes Fabianksi tripping over Vermuelen and Kos slicing in his own net was poor. Also Vermuelen and Rosicky with a comedy bit of defending is poor, but these are the games you learn from..
Lets look a bit more lively second half, look a bit heavy legged in the first half.

The problem isn’t even that we’re losing. It’s that we’re still coming undone the same way as a million & one times before. And shite defending at set-pieces is nothing to do with it being a pre-season friendly, match fitness plays zero part in that.

That’s the thing though, we never do. If we did we’d have rectified these problems, or at least made some kind of stride forward, years ago.
