LIVERPOOL AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think we'll sneak it 2-1. Fancy Chamakh and Nasri to get on the scoresheet aswell, they seem to link up nicely.

We wont be outplayed, but itll be one of those days where things just dont work out for us and the manager and the players will ofcourse be blamed.

Leading in to injury time before whichever clown is in goal throws it away.

A lof of the negativity about them beating us is rubbish. The fact is they're pretty shit and we are pretty dangerous.

2-1 to the Arsenal

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. League kicks off in 6 days. We still haven't a decent goalkeeper, we let 4 central defenders (of varying quality) go and have brought one in. Last season ended in May, that's 3 months ago. Somebody somewhere has not been doing their job properly.

Might sneak a win and should beat Blackpool at home. Blackburn away will be a test. We were woeful last time and we know what's coming this time. Interesting to see the response,.

If they dont get any corners, free kicks or shots on target then we might win!

I believe the physical and mental strenght of this group of players will prove to be decisive.

The added maturity, will be a signing beacon to a new chapter in this clubs glorious history.

This is going to be a very tough match, we are up against a new manager, at home, against a team who have little injury problems and who have already had two competitive matches - historically these are the hardest games to open with. Couple that with our no Cesc and VP and possibly no Song - it will be a tough opener.

That said, Liverpool are just as susceptible at the back as we are so if we can take our chances we have a good chance of getting something out of this.

Id take a point right now to be honest, but i cannot wait for the real stuff to begin :barscarf:
