Enjoyed being at the 3-0 win over Man Utd in August 1998, seemed to cement our billing of top side in the country after having just done the double.

Also had a good day out in Cardiff for the 2003 instalment, despite losing on penalties to Man Utd. IIRC, it was the hottest day on record at the time.

As for this year's? No interest. If I have to watch one more Chelsea/Manu match for a 'trophy', I'll probably kill myself.

The one where Gilberto scored on his debut. Had a free £20 bet from a bookie, stuck it on him 1st goalscorer at 33s. Loved him from that moment on.

Wembley 1998, a 3-0 victory over the Mancs, laughing at the donkey Jaap Stam they'd just splashed out on and singing to Edward Sheringham 'Oh Teddy Teddy, you went to Man Utd and you won fuck all'....little did we know!

Don't underestimate yourself. You also give us in-depth knowledge of what's being said Arsenal-wise across the Channel!! The forum's very own version of Philippe Auclair, if you like. :barscarf: 8)

Although if your opinion on Mexes is anything to go by, you're about as knowledgeable as a Chocolate Eclair!! )

Sorry but I hate Philippe Auclair
He said on french radio that Alonso has signed at Arsenal 2 years ago, or last summer that Chamakh has signed. Most of the time when he thinks he's got an exclusive news, it doesn't happened. He's overrated imo 8)

so I'd rather be a chocolate eclair

To be fair to Philippe Auclair, they were transfer deals involving Wenger and we know all too well he's a mass of contradictions, saying one thing, then doing another - or even worse - doing nothing!!!!!

Beating the Mancs in must have been 1999 was a good one. The Mancs had just won the treble of course and were full of (sh)it.
Teddy was a sub and made a point of warming up in front of the Gooners and sticking up 3 fingers at us (to represent the three cups he had just won, natch) we replied with the best chant ever "you went to Man United and you're still a *word censored*"
And we won 2-1 I think - hazy memory of Romford Pele scoring down our end for the winner?
