Seriously
The following theories all proposed by Quartz as to why the club have not spent since 2005 -
- the Board won't make more money available until the debt is paid off - as you have stated
- The Board won't make more money available until the Financial Fair Play rules kick in - as you have stated
or
- The Manager won't spend the addirtional Money the board is making available p as you have stated -
do not contradict one another?
That is remarkable on its face. First off the third theory suggests the manager has decided not spned additional money made available to him by the Board while the first two clearly state the Board has decided not to make the additional money available whiich clearly by any definition make the theories contradictory.
Second if you look at the first two theories if one in fact is true the other is plainly redundant, no mattr how you look at it. If you aren't spending because of the stadium debt them what the other clubs are spending is irrelevent. BY the same token if you are unwilling to spend what the other clubs spending (which really isn't the issue sinceArsenal has never spent what the other clubs spend they are only spending less than usual now) than the stadium debt is irrelevent. In other words if either of those are genuine plans they would not be deviated if the other circumstance did not exist because the factors in either circumstance do not automatically dictate how much we choose to spend.
Why do some feel this need to say anything to defend our Board and allow to continue as it is when that is clealry more detrimental to the club they love?. Quartz you posted awhile backed that we just had to "accpet" that this was the way it was gonna be for an indefinite but too long period. Which way? You keep naming new ways at every opportunity. Why is that?

Sorry USMartin, but with thoughts turning to our half squad travelling to Anfield at the weekend without visible improvements to either the GK or CB positions I can't actually physically handle taking on a board thread as well. No offence, it's just I might force my brain out of my rectum before Sunday 4pm.....
