Couple that with our no Cesc and VP and possibly no Song - it will be a tough opener.

That said, Liverpool are just as susceptible at the back as we are so if we can take our chances we have a good chance of getting something out of this.

Id take a point right now to be honest, but i cannot wait for the real stuff to begin :barscarf:
You can't be serious, if flappy plays then we lose (and heavily) it's as simple as that.

Of course im serious, Liverpool got raped at the back on numerous occassions last season and we have a habit of running them ragged ourselves, particularly at Anfield in recent times.

Im not saying we dont need a new GK, we do, but as you have probably guessed im not one to assume we have lost 6 days before a game.

the closer sunday gets the more worried i get, theres one side of me that thinks are kids will play them off the park as usual and we will knock it around them like they arent there but without V persie i cant see us scoring freely or gettin many chances.

hopefully arshavin steps up and chamakh looks good so far but i feel he has been stranded up front in pre season.

without cesc and song we are not as stable in the middle, frimpong wont play so i think it will be an out of shape diaby with nasri and wilshere starting.
walcott arshavin and chamakh on his own.
hopefully we get a nice early couple of goals and then catch em coming forward and kill em off 2nd half.

Might put them on the bench. Not the worst idea actually.

Cesc has played 45 mins since scoring against Barca and RvP had how many months out injured last season? And they're not ready to face Liverpool?? :banghead:

my prediction = van persie will play.

dutch havent called him up along with the other WC final players (kuyt) so he might be good to play at least a half after a full weeks training. cesc, doubt it... but im confident nasri and jack can do the biz.

Decent shout, not a bad side.

Can we sneak another player on cause I'd like to see Wilshere involved from the start.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow night - hopefully everyone returns fit and well.

If Wilshere cant get a start in front of Eboue he might as well go to Bolton for another year

First ten minutes will be quiet then the next twenty will be Liverpool dominating every thing.

Just before half time A.A will score his usual Anfield goal and we will go in 1-0 up at HT

Second half Liverpool will throw kitchen sink at us, equalise and then take the lead within fifteen minutes.

Gerrard will then get sent off for second booking and the last fifteen will be all Arsenal.

Chamakh will nail an equaliser before E.E scrambles the winner with three minutes to go. Liverpool will hit the post and have a Kuyt goal cancelled for offside.

Liverpool 2
Arsenal 3
