Team for Everton?

Team for Everton?

Post by Chippy »

No RvP  Eboue and walcott rested

That leaves just 3 recognised strikers in the squad. Will he play Bendtner or Eduardo and Ade up front and go back to 442 or slot in Diarra or Diaby in midfield and stick with 451? :?

Like most people on here I would lie to see a return to 442 but reckon he'll stick with 451, probably with Diaby for eboue. I also would take a point if we were given it now as it will be a difficult game. :(

Need the irons to get a result too.

So no Rosicky and 442 with Bendtner? I'd love it but i think le boss is going to stick with 451. :?

I am not losing faith but Everton are on a great run. Manure were v. lucky to get the points against them. I'd love all 3 natch but 1 would still be a good result.

Almunia

Sagna
Toure
Gallas
Clichy

Hleb
Fabregas
Flanimal
Diarra
Rosicky

Adebayor

That's my prediction. However, I'd love to see the team minus Diarra and plus Bendtner. I can but hope.

Maybe minus Adebayor, too

I think Ade's starting to feel the strain of being the lone striker and needs some help up there. I'd also like to see Diaby given a starting role in midfield. Fab and Hleb don't seem to have come back from their injuries completely yet and Toure will shorlty be off to the African Nations Cup. Oh dear, sorry, maybe being in my flu/virus ridden death bed all over xmas has added to my feelings of doom and gloom but I'm really not lookiing forward to this game in the slightest and I think I'd settle for a point right now. I think I badly need a drink to lift my spirits but i've hardly been able to touch the stuff in about four days now :( :( :( Going to force myself to get out for one or two and to watch the game later tho :?

sorry you've not been well charliegeorgewhocanhitem. No drink :? :x

I've been doing my best Fr Jack impersonation for the last week  siiting in my armchair shouting for "drink" and getting it most of the time 8) :o .

We're due a good performance so lets hope, and that'll cheer you (and others) up.

Nice one Chippy :D The image of you shouting for a drink from the armchair has cheered me up  Every time I've tried a drink it's made me feel worse. It feels like I've wasted the whole holiday  I'm hoping for the team to lift me tonight but I'm not holding my breath. Think we could be playing the wrong team at the wrong time here. Bloody, hell, I really do need a drink, I'm beginning to sound like a miserable old bugger

Surely the £100m striker that ade thinks he is shouldnt be feeling the pressure ?  I also believe that either diaby, bert or diarra will start instead of eboue and if bedtner starts it will be instead of ade and not alongside him. Can somebody please explain to why we are resting eboue when he is about to fcuk off to the anc for 6 weeks ? Its not that I want him in the team but why should we care if he is knackered going out there and it might even help us if he is and is a liability to ivory coast helping them to get knocked out early thus seeing the return of kolo. Can someone also explain to me why wenger see's the need to rest theo who has played fcuk all between being inj and wenger not trusting him enough to play him ? I fear for us today and while 3pts will not mask our problems in my eyes, not getting the 3pts will add pressure big time to a team that is struggling to find its form at the moment - all the more baffling then why wenger see's this as a game to rest players in

Cheer up boys! oh ye of little faith

I sat in the pub the other night a lone gooner amongst mainly Liverpool supports :? and Ive lived in Herts since 70, I come from North London and have been lifelong gooner but all these Liverpool and Manure supporters dont even know where the fuck Liverpool or Manchester are!
Anyway was getting plenty of shit from them as they had been in there all afternoon and were well pissed up. And yes it was pretty dire. The first half was really boring, but I think Harry had it well sussed out by just putting bodies infront of us. He knows from previous meetings that if he tried playing attacking football we'd tonk the arse off them.

Playing with Abe up front on his own just aint working. We seem pretty predictable at the moment for other teams. We just seem to keep coming from the middle and up against a brick wall of bodies just outside the penalty area. I wonder why the Boss dont play 2 attackers up front and have Bendy in there for his height with Abe and maybe Eddie on the left with Clichy feeding him and Eboue or Theo on the right crossing over balls for the 2 big guys to get stuck into and anything loose coming out could be picked on by Ces or Flamethrower. The theory sounds good or doesnt it, but I think tonite it will be the same as the Portsmouth game, it aint gonna be pretty and I should think Everton will be up for getting a few kicks in from the start.

AH WHAT THE FUCK DO I KNOW - COME ON YOU REDS

Almunia

Sagna
Kolo
Willy
Clichy

Hleb
Fab
Flanimal
Rosicky

Ade
Bendtner

Hoping this will be the team, but it probably won't be. As for result, I just want a win. 3/4 goals would be nice. An end to the crap we have been witnessing over the last few weeks!!!
Just play well for once and put some pressure on Manure.

I have a feeling Diaby will start ahead of Diarra.

Might be wrong though.

Please let it be 4-4-2.

What more has Bendtner got to do to be given a start in a first team game?

But, we all know it will be 4-5-1 with Ade up front alone ........collective sigh anyone????
