For the record, I am using the word 'experts' because dopey *word censored* would seem a little too confrontational.

Re: what the 'experts' think 2010-2011
Can I just point out that Rod is a very close friend of mine since our school days and has had the good fortune to be the recipient of my views and words of wisdom on matters Arsenal and other sports for many, many years!!! ( I know, he's a lucky *word censored* eh?)SPUDMASHER wrote:For the record, I am using the word 'experts' because dopey c**ts would seem a little too confrontational.....
Rodney Hinds The Voice Sports editor
1 Manchester City 2 Chelsea 3 Arsenal 4 Man Utd .......
In light of that, I would suggest that, unlike many others on the list, he thus does automatically qualify as a fully fledged 'expert'. Even if by default!!
Edit: (Although it wouldn't have influenced his predictions, I should also disclose that he was a childhood Man City fan but converted into a gooner when he became sensible!)

Only 1 (I'm not including Waddle) has us out of the top four. I've gotta say at this moment in time I'd take that.

Is it really a sign of hatered/stupidity/bigotry to have us out of the top four. ?
I am not neutral so it's hard to call.
But if you understand that a decent team needs a goalkeeper and a solid defence and then look at us; and then look at the others it is frankly incredible that so many of those 'pundits' have us 4th or higher.

Yes, agree, I can't believe it either, that not only in the list above, but other so called pundits are tipping us to win it.... on what basis do they believe this??Rob wrote:Is it really a sign of hatered/stupidity/bigotry to have us out of the top four. ?

Tbh Rob I think the fact is we're very overly critical of our team.
Almunia for instance is decent but nothing more. But for us he's awful, terrible, the worst goalkeeper in the league.
We overhype things because we're fans. Most people outside of Arsenal would see we have the best attack in the country and we have spent well on two good players, and have a chance.
