Wenger signing new deal soon

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

No doubt an increase on his current £5 mill pa as well.

So this is what we've been saving the pennies for.

Even if, as is likely, we have a disastrous season and the board have a change of heart, it will cost serious dough to get rid next summer.

I'm off down the Lane, fuck this.

Good news for Hill-Wood and Fiszman.

They carry on. Wenger stays and takes the flack they might otherwise get and we continue to regress as a Club.

Truly astonishing that anyone would actually celebrate that.

Halarious!

Im balanced, I can see Wengers faults I just dont forget that he deserves respect and that he has the clubs best interests at heart - even if he is making what are to the masses obvious mistakes, and certainly dont think he deserves the abuse he gets along the lines of "*word censored*" which ive seen on here. Some people overreact to such a degree it is actually quite sad.

Id kill for a CB and GK like the rest of us, and am amazed they havt been bought in....and i dont blame anyone for asking why - but i dont resort to stupid comments about a man who has done a lot of this club over an internet forum - if you met Wenger would you call him a *word censored* to his face? Nah, you wouldnt, because you know what he has done for our club.

Well done on that post though, A post without slagging off anything about Arsenal as well, congratulations!

If Wenger is a man of principle he should refuse to sign the contract until May.If we have failed again to win anything he should walk away.By giving him a contract now after 5 trophyless seasons the board are saying to him carry on with your failed project we dont care if you dont deliver. In my opinion he has taken the club as far as he can and should have gone two years ago.Lets see if Wenger is a man of princple.
