THE PROJOE TOTALLY POINTLESS TRANSFER RUMOUR THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I especially like this comment..

"Where d'you get this from? And if it's true it utterly insane. They'll win the league with a good goalkeeper.."
Wow they do stay up late that lot (2:30am!) :goingtobed:

Still it hasn't been proven by both forums. We're all going on about it from a 'tweet' which claims something that W. Barton supposedly said.

Great news if so but if the J.Cole saga as taught me anything I'll wait on this.
So glad we didn't sign that c**t.
Nasri is a far better player to Cole.

Yeah he's been looking good all pre season. Needs to leave free kicks to Tommy V though.

I agree, when he stepped up to take the free kick pre-season (dont remember which game) I really cringed, but it turned out to be a pretty good shot. The same vs. Liverpool, again a pretty good shot, and certainly better than Nasri's. Having said that, Nasri has shown he can do it as well.

I know its from Sport but the quotes seem pretty accurate, but tbh they don't exactly fill me with confidence. Its like me saying he could be at Arsenal.

Plus Super Dave's been on talksport saying Wenger should sign Given or Schwarzer

I can, Given wants to play CL football and he wants to play first team football.

The word going round is that Arsenal and City are in talks over the SALE of Given and not the loan as first thought.
