As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I don't think this is over - coming back from a first leg deficit in the Champions League (qualifier or not) is REALLY hard, and it's not something we have managed to do in all our years in the CL.

Can't see it, I think they would have needed a 3 goal cushion. I was fucking gutted last night, it would have just about made my season, before it had even begun.

How about the Porto tie from last season?
Er, yeah.........I spent so many years saying 'we never overturn a first leg deficit' I simply forgot to stop saying it when it actually happened.
The shot of the spuds fans after the 3rd goal was absolutely priceless. So eager & excited after their "return to glory" to finally get their chance at the top table only to be given the run around by a pub team from the Alps
Unfortunately i'm not convinced that YB can pull it off next week although the fact that they went to Fenerbahce & won gives me hope...
