Squillaci on his way to Arsenal???

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He is not a big name, but not an obscure player.

Though admittedly I remember him for his name when I heard it a few years ago (it triggered memories of 1990 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvatore_Schillaci) rather than any particular games.

But that says more about how much or little I know about football outside of the UK than anything else.

I'm quite surprised you guys don't know him
He's international footballer, and he's been playing in Champion's League almost every seasons, played a Champion's League final in 2003.
He's definately not an obscure player.

He played in the 2003 CL final? Who for?

I've never really followed the trials and tribulations of Monaco, Lyon and Seville, so forgive me father.

At 6 ft 1 he is hardly the big commanding CB we were looking for. I hope I'm proven wrong on that count.

Aaahhh well, he might as well get lubed up once he signs. Drogba is a-waiting.

they are not the source - canal+ are the source.

Can we stop giving credit to websites who just repeat the work done by other more reputable media outlets.

Or just credit Vince.
