Chamakh
Wondered what your thoughts are on our new striker?
He never stopped running yesterday which for any fan is a great quality. Even after he missed a couple of chances and that sitter he never gave up and was rewarded with a trademark towering header. Linked up well and last week showed his determination to get on the end of the cross for Reina's wonder goal!
I like the fella and hope he's a big success with us.

To be fair, it's a 2 way thing.Rosie_titters wrote:i felt the same, when adebayor joined, and look what happen to him![]()
i hope i am wrong, but i feel there is no loyalty in the game any more and i am sure if he bangs in 25 goals - Italy and Spain will come calling and he will come out with some shit "It's always been he's dream to play for Juve, Barca, Milan etc, etc
Players may want to climb the football ladder, by winning the top prizes and playing for the top clubs (it's called ambition) but, at the same time, fans/clubs are always wanting to upgrade their playing staff to enable them to compete with the best and win the top prizes (again, it's called ambition)
It's a fact of life that there's always going to be casualties along the way, and you won't be able to keep everyone happy. But lets be honest, fans are precious, selfish little whingers at the best of times, and if half the players read this forum, and the negative comments about them, they'd probably realise that we don't deserve much loyalty anyway

Re: Chamakh
His never giving up is key. After those couple good missed chances he could of faded away like other strikers. But, he kept at it and he was rewarded.Eboue-Why? wrote:Wondered what your thoughts are on our new striker?

A serious weapon for us on set plays and on crosses. I was impressed with that goal yesterday. Everyone says that it takes a while to adapt to the english game. I think he's doing well, much like TV5 last season.

Such an unnecessary post.
