I think it will be great at the back having SS and LK fighting for a place, I really like LK and I feel he can be an amazing player for the club as well as SS.

Lets just hope he's another TV5, it looks as if this is the defender were getting so it'll have to do.

Before the new season i wanted Two CBs, a Striker and a GK, and felt that should they turn out to be good buys, that would be enough to give us a real shout this season.

3 down and 1 to go Arsene :barscarf:

If it were me, I'd see it as a possibility. i dont see Kos commanding his penalty area and muscling Drogba off the ball, do you?
It is different, those positions are much more fluid for one.. Does Arsene Wenger ever change his centre back to do this? Do Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool do it? If it were you, then you would have the chance to drop Almunia and buy a top keeper  but it's not, and in the real world, managers don't change their centre backs for the reasons you state (you must know that or your living on Mars).

Centre-backs is one of those partnerships that generally remains unchanged. Again, its pontless asking about Kos because that is not the point. Wenger will settle on one partnership, who will have to cope with different problems.
I'm certainly not suggesting that its likely, but jsut becasue it doesnt happen doesnt mean it CANT happen. Look at the Spuds (not the best example, admitedly), they have King who generally only plays every other game. We generally have a broken partnership every season, and certainly during the cup games there is rotation.

All I'm saying is that I'm gonan be seriously f*cking annoyed when we are getting beaten by Stoke or Blackburn because we are being bullied off every ball at a THROWING, when we have such a physical player sat on the bench. Makes no sense.

Different arguements again mate. You night not be fucking Kelly Brook, doesn't mean there's no way in the world it can't happen - but it wont happen  Why make arguemnets than have nothing to do with your central point - which is rotation depending in opposition strengths? King - gets rotated because of injury. Cup games - to rest players. Broken partnerhsips - because of injury - Nothing to do with your central argument.

No-one will be more annoyed than me (Flash maybe   ) when we get bullied by some team of 6ft5in mugs, but that's not the point. An ideal partnership could cope with this, as well as the more nimble sides. Teams don't get 3 and say we're going to mix and match from week to week dependng on who we play. Not in that position. Ferguson doesn't, Mourinho doesn't, Graham didn't - but you want to? Come on, let us into the secret
