Have to laugh at rafa, he walked into inter with an ageing squad and not a pot to piss in because of you know who.
The man has zero class, if he did he would make a club his own like Wenger and ferguson have and navigate through good and bad times while building and rebuilding teams. Not just roll into town, empty the bank and jump ship before the money runs dry.
People on this forum have embarrasingly called him the portugese brian clough, more like portugese harry redknapp.

People's hostility to Mourinho blinding them to the truth I see. The guy's a winner, plain and simple. He goes to a club and gets the job they want done and often exceeds expectations as well.
At Porto he won two European trophies in successive years including the CL as well as taking them back to the top of the Portugese game. That was a remarkable achievement and no one outside the big 3 leagues has won the CL since. He was not spending big on a European scale.
At Chelsea he inherited a good squad and had a lot of money to improve it. He took a club that hadn't won the league for 50 years and gave them the belief that they could do so to the point where they were not only double champions but also just about the most dominant in history. Let's not forget they even beat our Invincibles points tally by 5 points dropping less than 20 all season. Remarkable even if aided by big money.
At Inter he turns a team that can't win in Europe into CL Champions within 2 years. Exactly the job he was asked to do and done with complete ease as well.
People don't like him and they're right not to - he's a total wanker - but he is a bloody fine manager and although he'll never want to manage us if he did we should get him. The closest thing in the modern game to a guaranteed success.

But theres no skill in just signing for a big side, spending loads of money so the rest have no chance then jumping ship when a better comes.
The greatest managers in history build their sides from pretty much nothing, and stayed for years, changed the way the players train and sorted everything out on the training pitch.
Mourinho might be a winner but he is also a mercenary arrogant self obsessed twat. He'll never influence the game like wenger or fergie. simples

That's right - football wouldn't have been blessed with the likes eboue, diaby, denilson and fabianski.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:But theres no skill in just signing for a big side, spending loads of money so the rest have no chance then jumping ship when a better comes.

And I forgot that before wenger and fergie, players used to just run around and bump into each other in training.
the geezers bang on , this manyana shit cant carry on .how much longer will the 60k crowds last without some sustained success.the days of the floating supporter will return especially if the chucky chickens keep improving and get a new shit hole.results are all that matter even fergie knows that he would have retired long ago without trophies. five years is along time and alot of excuses, jose would have won or gone somewhere else to win and there is nothing wrong with that ,its called determination ,ambition and the desire to be the best no matter what , something we are lacking lately.if jose had the AFC job and backing from the board we would win the quad in two years no worries then how good would aw seem.

what the fuck about the eto deal mate. He got world class striker, offloaded inconsistent ibrahimovic, and pocketed around 45m euros. he also got Sneijder as cut price cast off from Real madrid.GunnerDude wrote:People forget he spend a decent amount in Porto and thats all he does, SPEND!.
He can go fuck himself, he will never be great in my eyes until he commits to a club and builds a team. He would probably have a nose bleed if he has 2-3 players under 24 in his starting line-up.
Fucking shit management eh?
