Best Gooner Pub?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Best Gooner Pub?

Post by Battersea Gooner Boy »

In my opinion the Twelve Pins has to be the best gooner pub around. Right outside Finsbury Park station, great service, massive spacious boozer, the alcohol is top notch, big projector screens, fantastic atmosphere for the big games and even the Class B 1's. I watch the big 1's in there ie. Sp*rs, Chelski n Man U. Atmosphere is electric!

But what's your favourite Gooner pub?

Herbert Chapmans good for the saturday 3 O'clocks, pretty big and normally a few songs..Highbury Barn used to be a really good crack but its gone a bit posh now..Bailey is a decent place too but usually just walk up with a couple of tins these days.

I usually go in the Auld Triangle as it is on the way from Finsbury park station to the ground. It is a bit poky and can get overcrowded but it is convenient. I think I might have to try the rocket at some point so that I can buy the Rebel a beer

all the pubs offer something different, so for me the gunners bar for its history , bank of friendship for a good pint and 12 pins for the friendly irish bar staff

i used 2 go in the auld triangle every now n then aswell jus purely because its on the way from finsbury park tube but its pissing tiny! if u get off at finsbury park m8, instead of crossing the road straight ahead towars the triangle, take a left n ul spot the 12 pins bout 50 yards down the road, try it fella
