It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I been reading "Inverting the Pyramid: The History of Football Tactics" and I've been enjoying it. The first few chapters (I'm about a third through) are mainly a history lesson about the development of the game in various areas, and the spread of basic tactical structures (2-5-3, the WM, etc). But it features a lot of biographical information about key people in the process (ie Hugo Meisl, Mourinho, many more)
Nice chapter about Herbert Chapman and his Arsenal team in there too.
Book goes right up to about 2008 Champions League, so it's pretty new.

I thought it was good.
Not a long read, but very interesting description of the recovery from injury.
