Flight Options

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think the problem here is that since 2005 the board haven't really been putting there all into the travel arrangements, so I think we need to get Mart on here to sort this one out. :barscarf:

IM ONE FUKIN DECENT BLOKE, I SPEND ON CHARITY AND NEVER EVER BEFORE FELT THE NEED TO TELL PEOPLE WHAT I DO....I DO IT COS IM A GOOD MAN! YOU NBANK BREN AND ALL THE OTHER PRICKS IN OFFICIALDOM OF FOOTBALL AND TRAVEL WHO HAVE SLAGGED ME OFF AND SAID IM A NO GOOD *word censored* HAVE FORCED ME TO COME OUT AND SAY WHAT I DO...FOR THE FIRST TIME I PUT ON MY WEBSITE UNDER "CHARITY"
TELL YOU ALL SOMETHING .... I WILL DO SOMETHING ELSE SPECIAL FOR SOME GOOD CAUSE BY THE END OF THIS YEAR IN THE UK COS THATS WHAT I FUKIN DO.
I HAVE ENOUGH SUPPORT FROM PROPER GOONERS AND I DONT NEED TO START SELLING MYSELF TO ANYONE. YOU GOT MY NAME , IM PROUD AND IF A TWO HOUR DELAY ON A FLIGHT THAT WAS CHEAPER THAN ANYONE ELSES IS YOUR PROBLEM YOU BETTER GO OFF AND GET A LIFE !! ALOT WORSE THINGS HAPPEN ..... NOW IF YOU APOLOGISE I MIGHT JUST GET YOU THAT SIGNED PIC

Hopefully we'll get a decent draw, somewhere we've never been or not for a long time.

Lisbon was good in '91 when we first showed what money could be saved by not going official.

we spent 4 nights in a five star hotel inc. scheduled flights from Heathrow with BA for £310.

The club charged £279 for a one day trip and those unlucky enough to travel with them circled Lisbon for a few hours as they weren't allowed off the coaches. Straight back on the coach and away after.

Happy days.

In case you happen to have a passport- tomorrow is the draw fo CL groups and sure if you go on www.sportoptions.com you will get a good deal , Miles will sort ya an extra leg room seat and a signed picture, just draw a line in the sand admit you were over the top in your comments and lets get over land and sea..... more chance of spurs winning the CL than you retracting your cowboy statement

Sport Options Charity Work :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
During 2010 Sport Options Director Miles Saward worked in South Africa for a number of months prior to and during the World Cup. As a result of a local introduction in Cape Town we became involved in a charity project in the township of FISANTEKRALL just outside Cape Town.
This culminated in an emotional ceremony on 9th June 2010 when Chris Kamara (tv personality) joined Miles Saward to help open The Miles Saward/Sport Options nursery for children in Fisantekraal. Sport Options fully funded the building and providing of equipment for this nursery and still help to provide a food allowance for the children there.
We realise that charity work is also needed closer to home and will announce details of our UK project for charity towards the end of 2010. We realise we can't change the world but we can help a few and maybe improve the lives of a small number of people :) :) :)

Stillgoingstrong i commend you for your charity work, nice one. I genuinely respect you for that. May i also say I’ve never called you a *word censored*. I did think you were still a subsidiary of flight options as all the documentation my dad received from you was headed with flight options logos but sent from [email protected] and booked through the number on your site?

I must also highlight that the problem my dad and uncle have was never the queue or the long wait for the flight (although clearly wasn’t nice). I also want to say that they know that Hamburg airport staff were a farce, the airport just couldn’t handle that amount of traffic and should never have been given the final but was all part of the 2006 world cup deal.

The problem they had was the reps disappearing.....after about an hour
your rep said he was going to get information and never came back. They had no idea of where to go, the airport was a shambles so their next port of call is you, isn’t it? You were not there, there was only one queue which they joined had no ideas where it was going as did no one else in the queue. Even if you guys turned up to say guys we don’t know whats going on would have at least showed your presence, but the fact that not one rep was to be seen of course annoyed them. Do you really not understand this?

The problem I have personally more than anything is to me it seems you don’t care. Not even a “I’m sorry for their experience, BUT....â€

Not an easy set of matches to get to, I looked up Braga and could not work out the nearest airport. The one in Braga seemed tiny.

Yes mate, these companies have people who monitor these draws. And these place are exactly cheap or easy to get to in the first place.

Do they really have people who sit at a desk purposefully to screw over football fans? I'd hate to think that.

I always thought the flight companies had a system in place were the prices rise as the amount of searches for those designated flights surge sort of thing.
