Booing Cashley is good for your health (31/12)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Booing Cashley is good for your health (31/12)

usual thread starter… I actually think the booing really got to Cole in the end on December 16th. He’s stupid enough to let it affect him. Certainly, the v-sign to the fans at the end of the game indicated such. The abuse will run and run as long as he faces Arsenal. The booing is pantomime stuff, but as long as the fans are enjoying it, there will be no let up.

One thing I will state here though. The courts were correct to state there was no truth in the mobile phone story. The journalist who broke that particular tale was the victim of a sting in revenge for previous misdemeanours and cost the News of the World a lot of money as a result. Do with that information what you will. Cole may be guilty of greed and ignorance, but not of the subject of our variation on the ‘Ten men went to mow’ song.

I think Cole may have seen Clichy and Traore coming along and decided that he should quit whilst he was ahead.

Cashley Cole

I for one was disappointed at the low level of abuse directed at Cole.I expected something far more nasty than what we served up.I have never abused a player in all the years I have been watching Arsenal but made an exception to a `man` who rivals Judas in taking 30 pieces of silver and stabbing in the back the club who made him what he is.

you can tell it's getting to the ar**h**e because he now plays with a perpetual snarl on his face.
luvving it. every minute of it.
will not be long before he chucks the game and blames the arsenal fans or racism. that could be his next card.
watch this space.

When asked whether he feared a backlash from the arsenal faithful upon his return to the grove cole said "I love it, it makes me play better" or at least something along the lines of that. judging by his inept performance alongside the rest of his 'team' mates I think it really shows what cole is all about, a lot of mouth and not much else! long may the abuse continue!
