time to get behind almunia
So no new keeper, do i like that fact!? No! But it is what it is now. Lets hope almunia takes this chance and proves he is number one. well until january at least!

I agree we should get behind him. It's not his fault he is a bit shit. It is Wenger's fault we are stuck with him though. For me, now we must try and get behind the team at all costs. Hopefully Coco can step up with the confidence of the fans getting behind him. I doubt that, but it's all we have now. Arsenal first, always.

I'll get behind him as long as he's in the Arsenal shirt, at the end of the day I'm sure he'll try his best, but the fact of the matter is he's not good enough and wenger has to all intents and purposes told him he's not good enough.
Now he has to go and do a job for us. If it was my employer trying to actively replace me and announcing it round the whole office, then asking me to stay and do my very best I'd tell them to get fucked.

gomes was a brazilian international keeper who was pretty brilliant before joining the scum. he took time to adapt. but he was always class. i considered him one of the best in the world before he joined spuds.AFCWozza wrote:Is Almunia really THAT BAD? I mean, every goalkeeper makes mistakes. Yes i wanted a new goalkeeper, but fuck me Gomes was the worst keeper ive ever seen, and that wanker came good!
Hopefully the keepers buckle down, get more confident. Command there defence, make impressive saves, and become loved
almunia was a second rate keeper for a shit spanish team. and never really stepped up.

How long should almunia have - he's been here long enough and he technical faults with his game that it doesn't seem can be put right.
