Fully expect it to be all the players listed here minus the U21's and Traore.

27 listed in that link, so with traore on loan that leaves 26.Rocky Number Seven wrote:Fully expect it to be all the players listed here minus the U21's and Traore.

so who which keeper will be left out? mannone or Szczesny?
I don't get it though.... how comes Walcott (21) and Vela (21) are not listed?MegaGooner wrote:Fabregas is included in the 25 as 1 of the 8 "homegrown" players.digger wrote:Interesting, didn't think Fabregas would have been part of "the 25", whereas it looks like Vela has been included in the "under 21" quota.

Shezzer is under 21 so doesn't count towards the 25 (nor do any of the under 21s). We only have about 15 players who count towards the limit the likes of Man City and Spurs are hitting.IrishJB wrote:27 listed in that link, so with traore on loan that leaves 26.Rocky Number Seven wrote:Fully expect it to be all the players listed here minus the U21's and Traore.

# Clubs must name squads containing at least eight homegrown players and no more than 25 players in total.
# A homegrown player is defined as one who... has been registered with (any FA/FAW club) continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).
# In keeping with UEFA guidelines, an Under-21 player is defined as one who is under the age of 21 on January 1 in the year in which the season commences. For the 2010-11 campaign, Under-21 players will have been born on or after January 1, 1989.
# Any players under 21 can be added to the squad, regardless of nationality.
# - Rules apply only to Premier League matches, not European, FA Cup or League Cup action.
----
Just the disclaimer stuff, courtesy the earlier link. Walcott (March 89) would be U21, as would Vela (March 89 as well). So no need to list.
Edit: looks like Digger got it already

It's the sun blaming Arsenal for all of England's woes again. The rule are a Farse as the sun calls them because they are a farce knowhere does it state a minimum nor maximum number of under 21's who can be added to the squad. So Arsenal and I would imagine other clubs have just put all of thier under 21 players right down to the under 16's squads.Boomer wrote:dont know what our official list is but the media is have only seemed to picked up this or finally read the rules. The sun is claiming it a 'farce' in reference to us as we can register around 70 players!
