As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Like every true Red Gooner, Ian Wright is a hero, an Arsenal legend but does he need to open his mouth every time "We're a club in crisis"?
Of course he's entitled to his opinion but he always seems to be in the doom and gloom camp. Do you ever hear him carping on about Crystal Palace? I think not. Wrighty we still love you but sometimes I just wish you'd keep your mouth shut. Also has anyone noticed how his newspaper interviews often differ from his radio and TV opinions - why would that be?
All I have read on this forum this season is doom and gloom.
Fans saying how bad everything is. Wenger should go, he's got this wrong and that wrong. His time is up.
How this player isn't up to it, how that player should go. How everyone is tired of the clubs "failings".
Sick of this, sick of that...
All of which is fine if that is a fans opinion...
But Wrighty is a fan of the club too...so why is it wrong to be doing exactly what everyone else has been doing all season???
Wrighty is getting on my tits too but his opinion counts for less and less the more he does it.
Talking his son in going to Chelsea over us was the final straw for me.
I loved the guys goal scoring ability when he played for us and watch footage with pleasure but as for agreeing with what he says that ended a long time ago.
