To stop people buying the tickets, selling them on but still collecting the away point??

Not that anyone would do that

How could anyone sell tickets on to claim the away points. Thats scandalous!!!

I mean, it'll be very difficult to get the voucher back off the person you sold it to! :the_doris_2:

This is probably also due to the price of only £9. I'm guessing they are thinking that people would buy them with no intention of going. just to get the away credit.

That's exactly what it is GG, I guess they think with the small allocation that people will be able to sell them on or give their memberships to someone else.

"Members will be able to purchase and receive tickets in the usual way. However, once the ticket has been purchased and received, the process in redeeming the away match point for this particular fixture is as follows"

I think this is definitely a step in the right direction, people who go to this game should be awarded definitely. However, from the quote above from the ticket page it seems they will still only be given one point. The credit system for England Fans is slightly improved that you get 2 points for each away game attended. I think you should get 3 away points personally for away European games and 2 points for away games outside of London during the week.

Nice idea but then you're penalising those who p'raps can't afford to go abroad.
We all know following our team is a bloody expensive excercise at the best of times, even if we're only playing down the road.
It also wont stop people using their memberships to get tickets to sell on so if that's the issue then i don't think its the answer.

Besides if people can help others by selling on their tickets (not to touts of course)whats the problem?

Because if people who get first dibs on buying the tickets with no intention of going, buy them and and sell them on in the hope or expectation of a market because it sells out, then they are skewing the whole basis of loyalty points.

By the way, mods, I think SparkSy is someone's alter-ego
