Bollocks! You're comparing him having the chance of playing for other clubs, than the choice between retiremnt and playing for spurs.

You're saying if he had been given the option of either going to Spurs or retiring from football, he'd have retired?

Agree with marc. :oops: :wink: It's so easy to say if it's never going to happen. However, faced with the choice of early retirement or a couple more years playing at or near the top and earning good dough to boot - even if with Spurs - only a right mug would retire. :oops: :roll:

Mind you, given some of the stupid decisions he's made in the past, perhaps we should believe Merson!! :oops: :oops: :lol: :lol: :wink:
