Live Ice Hockey - Nottingham vs Belfast

Post by richpye »

Just a quick bit of publicity for a sport that needs it.

Tonight is the kick-off of the New Elite League Hockey season.

Nottingham and Belfast are two of the highest spending teams in the league and some of their players good decent so should be a good game to get started (That was difficult to say as a Steeler), so if anyone wants to give it a go...

Sky Sports 4, 7pm, Tonight

I enjoy the Stanley Cup, will be interesting to watch this to compare.
Been to the Guildford Spectrum a few times, but never to watch the Flames.

Yes, but only because they were massive pads so you can't see the back of the net.
Come to think of it, you may be onto something there mrgnu.

Interestingly enough (sort of), the Steelers are playing a local recreational nettie as backup tonight due to injury reasons. Nem is already in his 40's and will be the oldest player to debut in any professional ice hockey match in this country. Which kind of shows it's not too late for anyone

mrgnu to replace Almunia? You never know :D
