Evens things up for the more realistic of us.

Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben has insisted Tottenham are now finally as good as their north London rivals Arsenal.
Robben, a Dutch team-mate of Rafael van der Vaart, believes Spurs have bridged the gap between the clubs with their signing of the midfielder from Real Madrid.
Robben said: 'Before Rafa signed, Iâ€™d still have had Arsenal down as the stronger team - but now I donâ€™t think there is anything between them.

Lets not fuck about sp*rs have improved their playing staff over the last few years and with us standing still (at best) the're are as close to us as they have been for years. Better maybe not but closer definately

'They got rid of me and Wesley Sneijder in the same summer and I went on to win my domestic league and get to the Champions League Final while Wesley went on to win the Treble and become the best player in the world."

When did this happen? Does that mean Gerrard is wrong about Joe Cole being the best? What would Harry Hill do in this situation...?

When UEFA drew the European Cup groups they presented awards to best keeper, defender, midfielder and attacker then the best player Sneider won midfielder and player awards i think he is refering to that

According to all the sources I could find, Sneijder got best midfielder. Messi won Best Player & Best Forward, along with a myriad of other honours during 2009 (the year I assume he is referring to). To suggest that anyone outperformed him during that time is just ridiculous imo.

EDIT: Appologies, Milito won the UEFA Player/Forward of the year 2009-10, with Sneijder winning Best Midfielder. Messi won Best Player & Forward 2008-2009. My point re. Sneijder still stands though

Without wishing to become on of flash's disciples (

) I have to agree wholeheartidly with the above statement - when they start beating us on a regular basis or finish above us then they might have some justification that they are better than us but until that time then they are close but not close enough. I'll tell you this, if they finish above us this season after wenger's pricking about in the transfer window then the wrath he faced at last seasons shareholders meeting will be nothing in comparison to the vitrol he will face then

Acutally it was Milito that won best forward and player of 2009-2010 so i dont know where Robben got his info from. Sneider was best midfielder in these awards
