On paper they have a much improved team but I still think that when both first teams meet we would beat them.
I also dont think RVDV will be as influential as they make him out to be, his best position is behind the striker and Tottenham dont play that system meaning someone will suffer for first team football.

Yes, lets all get carried away by the Spuds again shall we ?
No goals scored at home in two games (despite their supposed wonderous attacking options and one of the games being against a team who had previously conceded 18 goals in their last three games)
Two scored at 'pointless' Stoke - one off Bale's face and the other one a strike he would never be able to repeat in a million years
Gallas will now be a regular for the next few weeks alongside Bassong. Corluka and Assou Ekoto, and the two little fat ducks Huddlestone and Palacios
The CL defences of Europe's elite must be quaking
Perspective people please - this is a Dutchman giving praise to his fellow countryman. No more, no less

What position? The season has barely kicked off, ok AW never got a new keeper in but that's not going to make us a bad side, if we make sure we take our chances in front of goal and not drop silly points at places like Stoke,Birmingham, and the likes of Wolves in think we'll be ok. We may still miss out on the title but we'll be above the scum.1989 wrote:Truth hurts eh?merson_is_god wrote:Shut up Robben you diving, cheating oompah loompah crunt!
If Wenger hadn't fucked about we wouldn't be in this position now.

This argument is silly. Arjen is a good player but his 'observation' is inaccurate.
Spurs: improved, but not Arsenal's calibre.
This season will demonstrate that they are punching above their weight (and even then, are still below us - as I've said in other threads). RVDV may make a big impact, but he might also get hurt in 20 minutes and be a flop. We'll see.

What second in the league, and currently unbeaten?
I hope Arsene realises how important this Carling Cup game is to us for bragging rights. If we get mauled again because he's put out the youth team then the shit will hit the fan!
