Robin Van Persie

Surprise surprise mr dependable injured again, the guy is a walking or rather a hobbling fucking disaster.
He should have been offloaded 3 seasons ago when it was obvious to everyone that he was the most injury prone palyer in the fucking league.
Yet again another example on Wenger's short sightedness.
And we all know there is more chance of seeing Father fucking Christmas in his fucking grotto before we see this guy in an Arsenal shirt again.
Wenger your dereliction of duty over the past 5 seasons has been nothing short of disgraceful so please just FUCK OFF YOU SENILE OLD STUBBORN BASTARD :banghead: :banghead:

FFS!!!!!!!!

Im a massive RVP fan and think he is up there with Cesc as head and shoulders above the rest of our mediocre squad but if he cant stay fit then sell him and get some good money and lets buy someone who can play 40 games a season

There's no dispute that RVP is a class player but I can't see anbody taking a risk in signing him due to his injury record. As stated by others we always needed to sign another striker as well as Chamakh. I personally don't think Vela is good enough and think we maybe should have kept Simpson as back up who may have done a job for us even if only for a few games.

I have just about had enough of this brittle boned excuse for a footballer.
Every season it is the same fucking shite a few appearances then injured.
After returning from his injury enforced sabbatical last season, he managed a few appearances for us, before heading off to South Africa. Where if I'm not mistaken he managed to play just about every fucking game for Holland.
He then after being given extra time off by Wenger, arrives back and manages a couple of cameo appearances as a sub and about 15 fucking minutes against Blackburn.
Add to that the challenge which resulted in his latest injury was partly due to him "pulling out of a challenge" and even at that it was a knock that just about every other (non-arsenal) player would have run-off.
The excuses being made for Van Persie are very similar to those being made for Wenger, "give him time" "next season will be different" blah! blah! bastard blah!
The guy is employed to lead the line for Arsenal football club, he has however failed to to do this for an acceptable period during any season.
And in the one season when he wasn't constantly injured, I think it was 2008/9, he was fucking shite and looked exhausted at having to put in a shift which meant playing more than 20 fucking games in a season. :banghead:

Spot on. It's a fucking disgrace how we DEPEND on a player that is so easily injured.

I used to love the guy but sadly I can't even remember the last time he played 3 games in a row, several years ago it must be.

Van Persie MUST be offloaded like Eduardo was, if not in January then next summer.

Van Persie is only there stopping guys like Simpson, or Jay Thomas getting games in the first team.

Van Persie for me, is overrated as hell and never fit. Not a good combination but they are linked, he never plays enough to get criticism.

JUST FUCKING SELL HIM OR FUCK OFF
