NAME AN ARSENAL DONKEY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

To be fair rebel, if you or I were married to his wife back then we would have more important things to think about than a game of footy  Maybe the poor guy had no energy left to play a match

Tony, as an administrator you should be well up on the laws of the forum and you should recall that 'Smoothies law' prevents current players from being used in 'tongue in cheek' humour

Since a few decent players are making it onto this list, I thought I'd add one of my own.

Many liked Edu and gave him a hero's send off when he left. Not me though. Think about it: he arrived on a forged passport, and once found out, went back to Brazil to play for another season after we'd already paid the money; he eventually turned up but got a major injury before his first competitive game, so it was almost 2 years before his debut. And what does he do on his first match? Scored a fucking own goal in a bizarre 3-0 home defeat to Boro.

After a while he established himself, played a few decent games, got into the Brazil side and then scored a good goal against a poor Celta Vigo and thinks he's made it, so ultimately pisses off to Valencia on a Bosman.

Strictly speaking, perhaps not a donkey, but what a twat.

Ah, my mistake, Wayno. I actually meant to put Adebayor in the 'Arsenal Legends' thread
