The mans an idiot, hes under the impression had Cahill not been sent off then Bolton would have got something from the game. He does realise that they were losing 2-1 at the time and we was on the counter.

Dont think I agree with this, he previously has stated how much he admires Arsenal and our style of play. Some of them do try to play football apart from Robinson Kevin Davies.

I don't particularly dislike him. Yes, he's another Northener who sends him teams out to kick lumps out of us and moans and bitches when the referee costs him the game (honestly, nothing to do with the quality gulf between the sides), but he comes across as a reasonably normal, level-headed human being. As has been mentioned, he often seems to praise Arsenal's style of play when questioned.

Plus, I don't think he's ever beaten us, which is the key. Once they rough us up at the Reebook next April and finish our title charge, he'll be public enemy number one. But for now, I'll let him slide.

Despite being at the game I only got a really good look at Cahill's tackle today and a case can be made that technically it deserved the Red card, as it was an out of control two-footed lunge from behind with both feet off the floor.

Even if you believe it only deserved a yellow, Robinson's assult on Diaby certainly warranted a Red, and a case could be made that Davies also was lucky to escape a second yellow card.

Therefore, any sob stories by Coyle and the media about how poor little Bolton were undone by the ref's cowering to the big clubs, should be taken as nothing more than sour grapes!!! (And by the way, I like Coyle!!!)

Could have finished 8 -v - 10, Atwell chickened out sending off Gibbs , maybe his England Cap saved him or he felt he would have been lynched if he did.

For me the guy is pretty honst and i like the way he is moulding what was Big Sam's hoof ball team into a team who at times yesterday played some pretty decent football. Long gone are the days where they play lump and run.

I can see his argument to an extent albeit a little clouded.
At 2-1 you are always in the game and he should have seen Lee given a free kick which in theory could have made things difficult for our back line.
Instead he witnesses what we all saw and the game effectively is over.

I feel that sometimes managers when they get situations like yesterday need a day or two to evaluate the game before making noises.

For me, Coyle is a young manager making a name for himself in a game that takes no prsioners. I dont begrudge him of what he says one bit, its the same when we get beat and AW gives off the line after line of hard luck sobs....

nothing however, can take away the fact that Fergie had the biggest moan yesterday....

I would have paid big money to be in that dressing room yesterday at the full time whistle.

Am I the only one who thinks Cahill was guilty on two fronts.

1. The tackle was from behind = straight red card
2. Two footed tackle = straight red card.

Stop your bitching Coyle you *word censored*, you should treasure every minute of being a prem manager, it won't be long before you will be back managaing the likes of Falkirk again.

From behind, 2 footed, off the ground and dangerous !!

Red card, all day long.

I like Coyle though.

IMO he could not win that ball, and the tackle was a bit reckless - having seen Joe Cole sent off for something very similar he must have known the chance he was taking.

Sometimes a player will take a card because thier team has put in a few bad tackles before and the ref has thought one more from anyone in a bolton shirt and i am going to have to take action,

If Coyle wants to point blame it should have been at his own player, once chamack flicked the ball they had 3 defenders back and he could have concentrated on trying help them deal with aa23.

Yes it was bad not to see the song foul but that does happen you can't blame a defeat on something like that.

It really got to me when he was asked about the diaby foul and he said and i quote "i didnt see it" , how many times has wenger been slated for saying that

hes just another twat that got him and his team an ass whooping to the by far better team and his team should have had 3 sent off (davies again making 3 bad fouls.

I admire ian holloway after the blackpool game, he was honest and said sending off didnt change game we was hammered , fair play to him for that.

I dont deny he has said arsenal play well and he likes our style of play in the past ,but why could he not say that about yesterday.

Another point he made was gallas tackle on one of theirs lat year and said things dont equal themselves out well i think diaby would disagree.

I have to admit to liking coyle before, but after wathing him today on goals on sunday that has changed.
