I'm hearing it's a dislocation and a fracture. Sounds a bit like Eduardo's.

Poor fucker.

It looked alot like a dislocation to me. The defender seemed to fall on his leg and Valencia's studes must have kept his leg facing the wrong way.

Why does this type of injury never happen to the thugs like shawcross, kevin davies or barton (or scholes even) instead of to decent honest players ?

Glad to see the respectful comments towards valencia regardless of who he plays for and I too would like to wish the lad a full and speedy recovery

Augie I think this is one thing we'll ever probably agree on :D

Seen the photos, looks pretty bad, United saying it's a dislocation and fracture: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 999551.stm

Being fair though, this one wasn't from a bad challange, just a horrible bit of bad luck.

They didn't replay it last night on TV. At full speed the challenge looked okay but there was something odd about the way Valencia fell.

Hope the lad gets the care he needs and is back playing as soon as.

I honestly wouldn't mind one of our players getting sent off for punching the lights out of the next twat that puts in a tackle like the one against Diaby.
