Even shit hole is an understatement!

It's full of chavs driving around in Blacked out 1985 Golfs with huge silver chains, 'Yeah bruv check out my exhaust!! Pow pow!!! '

ESSEX girls can stand proud after Southend-on-Sea was voted the sexiest town in the UK.

Babes from the seaside resort trumped lovely lasses from other parts of the country, including Weymouth, Southport, Blackpool and Barry Island.

A long list of famous beauties come from Southend, including actresses Kara and Hannah Tointon, sexy Countdown host Rachel Riley and Hollywood diva Helen Mirren.

The town, which is also famed for having the world's longest pleasure pier and seven miles of seafront, was voted Britain's Sexiest Town by 5,000 red-blooded males in a poll.

Essex girl Ann Holland, Southend's mayor, said: "I'm delighted.

"It's all in good fun. I'm very pleased to hear we have beat all the other competition.

"I think it's the first time Southend has won something like this."

John Lamb, Southend Council's deputy leader, also welcomed the title.

He said: "Southend has lots to offer everybody.

"We are delighted Southend is continually being hailed as an inviting destination."
