Oh and pre-match they showed the achievements of the teams in Spuds group...Werder was finished second (?) in the Bundesliga, Twente won the Eredivise, Inter the Champions LEague and Serie A and Spuds finished 4th in the Prem!

No, they finished 3rd in the Bundesliga and had to go through the qualifiers against Sampdoria Genua.
