I certainly don't think he'd throw away £20 million on just any old rope, but with his proven canny knack for spotting the diamond in the rough, the extra cash would be useful for paying the wages and signing on fees and bonuses that might just make us a little more competitive in signing players that might think to themselves "Hmmm, Arsenal or chav$ki? Also, if we were able to spend that much would Chelsea let us? They could outbid anything we were prepared to pay.
At the moment we can't even come near being competitive in the transfer market, not even on wages for a bigger squad and we DO need a bigger squad of quality players without the chaff like AliadiUseless and Flimflamini and Gilberto and Hleb and Hoyte etc etc who would all be decent enough players at a lower level but are just NOT good enough to play at the very top level.
I know some of you will question my inclusion of Hleb and Gilberto but take off the rose tinted spectacles lads, they are quite possibly the two worst passers of a ball since Mark Flatts!!
Also, with the current ongoing Russian investigations into corruption during Yeltsin's reign, it may only be a matter of time before Abromobitch joins his corrupt billionaire pals Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev in jail and chav$ki go back to being the small time also-rans they've always been...
